While the NVIDIA Tegra 4 processor was seen in the XOLO Tegra Play smartphone, the refreshed Tegra 4i processor would be first used by French manufacturer Wiko.
According to sources, Wiko is all set to announce the Wiko Wax 4G, which would be the first device to have the quad core NVIDIA Tegra 4i processor. The device would have the processor clocked at 1.7 GHz along with 1 GB of RAM and 4 GB of internal storage. The handset would have a 4.7 inch HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 2.
The Wiko Wax 4G has a decent 8 MP rear facing camera with LED flash. There is also a front facing 5 MP camera. The device would run on the Android v4.3. It is unlikely that the device would be launched in India directly, but we can expect Xolo to use this chipset in one of its upcoming phones.
