While the much awaited WhatsApp voice calling feature is available to all Android smartphones without requiring an invite, the company has now promptly rolled out the feature to iPhone users.
WhatsApp has released an update for the WhatsApp Messenger for iOS which ass the calling functionality to the app. the update, bearing version number 2.12.1 and weighing about 54 MB, brings in the voice calling feature to the app. there are also several other improvements added to the update.
The WhatsApp Messenger for iOS version 2.12.1 not only enables the voice calling feature but also allows users to share photos, videos and other links directly to WhatsApp from other applications. Users can also send multiple videos at once and even crop and rotate them before sending them over WhatsApp. The new quick camera button in chats also enables users to take a quick snap or access recent photo or video directly.
