While WhatsApp had added support for media files, one of the greatest drawback was the inability to share document files. But now seems like the company has solved the issue with the new update. Now you can share documents on WhatsApp.
WhatsApp, the popular instant messaging service, has now added support for sharing documents. Currently, the feature only supports PDF file types, but is soon expected to be support more file types including .doc and others. The feature is currently available to users running version 2.12.453 and higher. It is expected to rollout to all users in the next few days.
To make place for the document sharing feature, WhatsApp has clubbed the share photo and video option under the camera option and added the document option. To send the document, click on the attach option and click on document. It will display all the available documents. However, if you can’t wait till you get the documents sharing feature for WhatsApp, hit the download link below and install the app.
