WeChat, a free mobile voice and text messaging application from Tencent which was launched in India back in July and which crossed 200 million users earlier this month has been updated for Windows Phone 7.5 smartphones.
With this update, WeChat messaging app has reached version 3.2 and brings in a couple of new feature.
The new feature that WeChat v3.2 for Windows Phone bring in is that now WeChat will be accessible on the web, allowing users to chat from their personal computers via the browser from http://web.wechatapp.com
This new feature was released for WeChat for Android app v4.2 earlier this month and is now available for WeChat users on Windows Phone.
Also, now users will be able to share their location with their friends and family using WeChat which is a good addition. And the WeChat v3.2 for Window Phone brings in support for German language.
If you are not aware of WeChat, then it offers a unique free voice message called “hold to talk”. It is also engaging excellent group chat experience with free voice message, animated and custom emoticon and Emojis art, customizable backgrounds, and a Rock-Paper-Scissors mini-game.
