While Vivo had created a huge buzz around its ultra-slim X5Max, the company seems to be getting ready with another variant of the handset.
The Vivo X5Max S, which is a variant of the X5Max, was spotted at Chinese certification authority TENAA. The device is said to have the same 5.5 inch full HD display but with a 1.7 GHz octa core MediaTek processor along with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage. Surprisingly, the smartphone is 7.29 mm thick, which is 2.54 mm more than the X5Max.
Interestingly, the Vivo X5Max S is said to flaunt a massive 4150 mAh battery compared to the mere 2000 mAh battery used earlier. This apparently, is one of the major reason for increased thickness. Other than that we can also expect a 13 MP rear facing camera and 5 MP front facing camera. Reports suggest that the handset would be launched on May 13.
