While most of the handset makers are focussing on the smartphone market, Videocon has launched a new feature phone – the Videocon VPhone Grande, to push mobile phones to first time customers.
Videocon Mobiles Phones Division, which is part of the Videocon Group, has announced the launch of their new feature phone, the Videocon VPhone Grande, which is said to have a premium finish with a rubberized back for better grip usually unseen on feature phones. The device is said to have a 2.8 inch display with resolution of 320 x 240 pixels.
The Videocon VPhone Grande is targeted towards the Indian rural customers and has support for 6 regional languages including Hindi, Punjabi and Tamil. The phone also comes inbuilt with features like Movie Juke Box Application, Security Inbox, Smart Auto Call Recording feature and Smart Call Divert feature. The handset is priced at just Rs. 1950 and comes bundles with two additional back covers.
