Indian smartphone manufacturer Videocon has launched a new smartphone in India called Cube 3. The Videocon Cube 3 is priced at ₹8490 and comes with a feature called Panic Button.
The Videocon Cube 3 focuses on the safety of the owners and comes with Panic Button. The power button of the phone can be customized to act as a panic/SOS button and upon being pressed sends alerts to family and friends with GPS location.
Besides this, the Cube 3 comes with an app called SOS-Be Safe which has features like Alert, Walk with ME and Reach on Time. These features can be triggered from the status bar of the phone.
Walk with ME sends the location of user to its emergency contacts at a regular interval, whereas, Reach on Time alerts the emergency contacts if the user doesn’t reach a particular location at a specific time. The app also provides a map view of nearby police stations and hospitals for any emergency situation that may arise.
