Videocon Mobile has today announced the launch of two new budget dual-SIM Android smartphones – Videocon A20 and Videocon A30 for prospective buyers.
The Videocon A20 runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS while the Videocon A30 is powered by Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS.
The Videocon A20 is a 3.5-inch Smartphone with a display resolution of 480 x 320 pixels. The A20 is powered by a 1 GHz Qualcomm processor and has a 3 MP rear facing camera while it is also equipped with a front facing VGA camera.
The Videocon A20 arrives with connectivity options which include Wi-Fi, 2G, 3G, Bluetooth with A2DP and the Smartphone’s memory can be expandable up to 16 GB using a microSD card. The Smartphone gets all its juice from a powerful 1350 mAh battery. The A20 comes preloaded with loads of apps and is priced at Rs.4,999.
Next up is Videocon A30 which is a 4-inch Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich running Smartphone which packs in a WVGA display (800 x 480). It is powered by a 1 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor.
The A30 has a 5 MP Autofocus camera with Flash at the rear while there is a VGA front facing camera for video calls. There is no information on the internal memory of the A30 but it can be expandable to 32 GB using a MicroSD card. The connectivity options include the usual, Bluetooth with A2DP, Wi-Fi, 2G, 3G, AGPS and FM Radio.
The 4-inch Videocon A30 is just 10.8mm thick and is available for prospective buyer at Rs.7,299.
