ASUS unveiled ZenFone 3, ZenFone 3 Ultra and ZenFone 3 Deluxe in May this year. However, it now looks like ASUS is working on a smartphone with moderate specs. An unknown ASUS device has popped-up on GFXBench with its specifications.
This unknown device carries model number Z01B and is powered by an octa-core processor which is paired with 2 GB RAM and Adreno 505 GPU. As the device has Adreno 505 GPU under the hood, it might be the Snapdragon 430 or 435 SoC powering the device.
The device runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow and sports a 5.5-inch Full-HD display. The ASUS Z01B offers 32 GB of internal storage and features a 13 MP camera at the back and an 8 MP camera on the front.
There’s no information right as to which smartphone is this, but, it could be the cheaper version of the ZenFone 3. However, nothing’s confirmed right now so take this information with a pinch of salt.
