With the increasing concerns for smartphone security, UMi has now launched the flagship UMi Iron Pro.
UMi has announced the launch of the UMi Iron Pro, which is touted to be the world’s most secure smartphone with a fingerprint scanner and an iris scanner. The handset flaunts a monoblock design and is made of aircraft grade aluminium. The device has support for two SIM cards (nano SIM) with 4G LTE connectivity.
The UMi Iron Pro has a 5.5 inch IPS display with resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The smartphone is powered by an octa core MediaTek processor with 3 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage. The handset runs on Android Lollipop 5.1 out of the box but still supports a wide range of ROMs such as CyanogenMod and MIUI.
The UMi Iron Pro has a 13 MP rear facing auto focus camera with Sony IMX 214 sensor, f/2.0 aperture and dual LED flash. There is also a front facing 8 MP camera with LED flash. The device has a massive 3100 mAh battery. The handset is priced at just $179.
