Despite the issues in delivery with the Aakash tablets, a new version of the tablet was seen online – the UbiSlate 7C+ Edge. This device also offers 2G connectivity thus doubling as a mobile device.
The UbiSlate 7C+ Edge has a 7 inch display with WVGA resolution. The tablet is powered by 1GHz Cortex A8 processor with 512 MB of RAM and 4 GB of internal storage. The device has no rear camera but is provided with a front facing VGA camera.
