Uber, the popular on-demand car service has just launched its very own Windows Phone app. The service already have their app on Android and iOS and after much await, they have launched a Windows Phone app today.
The Uber Windows Phone app is similar to its Android and iOS counterpart when it comes to functionality but the user interface is akin to Windows Phone requirements. The Uber app lets you request a ride, compare rates for different vehicles, set your pickup location on the map even if you don’t know the address.
The Uber service recently came to India and it’s available in six cities right now including New Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune and Mumbai. Uber wrote in a blog post, “Users will be able to open the Uber app on their Windows Phone anywhere in the world – whether in the United States, India or France – and seamlessly request a safe, reliable ride at the touch of a button.”
The Uber app is available for free over at the Windows Phone Store. Hit the link below and get downloading.
