Today Toshiba not only unveiled the ultra-affordable Excite Go priced at just $110, but also launched another two Windows tablets to cater to the growing number of users.
Toshiba has announced two new tablets as part of its Encore 2 line-up. Both the tablets run on the latest version of Windows 8.1 and are powered by the same quad core Intel processor. The devices are available in 8 inch and 10.1 inch versions, both with 1280 x 800 pixel resolution. The tablets have a micro-HDMI port and support wireless display.
The new Toshiba Encore 2 tablets can be configured with up to 64 GB of internal storage and up to 2 GB of RAM. The devices have a 5 MP rear facing camera and a front facing VGA camera. Both the tablets are said to offer up to ten hours of battery life and up to eight hours of video playback.
The 8 inch Toshiba Encore is priced at $199 whereas the 10.1 inch version is priced at $269.99 and comes bundled with an optional keyboard cover that transforms it into a small laptop. Both the tablets have a 1-year subscription to Office 365 Personal, giving customers access to full versions of Word, Excel, Power Point, OneNote and Outlook.
