We just told you that the OnePlus 5 is going to be unveiled on June 20 and will then be launched in India on June 22. Well, even though we have the launch date, we still don’t know much about the hardware of the OnePlus 5, however, thanks to a leak from a reliable source, we do know how it looks like.
This leaked render (shown above) of the OnePlus 5 was passed down to Android Police by a “reliable source”. Android Police also said that they corroborated this detail with second source as well which means this is pretty much what we will see on June 20.
Also, this render confirms the existence of dual camera setup on the OnePlus 5 which is placed horizontally at the top-left corner of its back. It’s also accompanied by LED flash and you can also see the OnePlus moniker below. You can also see the volume rocker at the left side of the OnePlus 5 above which is the alert slider.
Speaking of the design of the OnePlus 5, it’s very much similar to the iPhone 7 Plus. Also, this render is of the black colored variant of the OnePlus 5, hence, we are assuming that there won’t be some special black edition like the OnePlus 3T, and, the device might actually be offered in Graphite, Soft Gold and Midnight Black colors. Having said that, this is just an assumption, so take it with a grain of salt.
Speaking of the specs, the OnePlus 5 is confirmed to be powered by Snapdragon 835 SoC, however, other key specifications of the OnePlus 5 are still unknown. With that being said, we expect more leaks to pour over the Internet until the OnePlus 5 is made official on June 20.
