Airtel has been given the best quality mobile network provider award at the National Telecom Awards held at New Delhi. Airtel is now one of the world’s fifth largest telecoms company by subscribers and has operations in 20 countries across Asia and Africa.
The Communication, Multimedia and Infrastructure Association of India (CMAI) had recognized it as a winner in the categories of Star News Viewers Choice Best Mobile Network and Best Quality Mobile Network Service Provider at the 6th edition of National Telecom Awards 2012. The CMAI granted award to Airtel on the basis of public votes gathered in a survey conducted by ZipDial and Star News.
Bharti Airtel director for network services group Jagbir Singh said, “At Airtel, it is our constant endeavor to create ubiquitous network to offer enriched experience to our customers. While it is great to be acknowledged for ones efforts, we also take this as a responsibility to sustain the performance and efforts towards taking a consumer experience to a newer level by enriching their lives.”
