Tata Indicom Broadband from Tata Communications – today announced the launch of its — One World, One Account service — a unique offering which allows all Tata Indicom Broadband customers to access high speed internet roaming at over 160 countries using their same account. This service also allows the customer to use various different forms of internet access like Broadband, Wi-Fi, Dial-up and other services like gaming, movies, music, anti-virus, etc. on a single account.
This service is aimed at creating an end to end Internet service for Home as well as Small Business users. The convenience of a single bill and access through multiple technologies helps give a seamless experience to users. This package also comes with various bundled services targeted at the home and small business user.

The access to global internet roaming has been facilitated by an in-house platform development by Tata Communications and its membership of the Wireless Broadband Alliance (WBA), the global association of telecommunication services providers that offer Wi-Fi services. The membership facilitates inter-connect agreements between the alliance members, and has enabled global internet roaming for Tata Indicom Broadband customers at over 1,00,000 hotspots across the world.This is backed up by Tata Communications Broadband coverage using Wimax, DSL and Fibre to the Building technologies as well as over 600 Wi-Fi hotspots that are already available in India
