Following are the details for the above three vouchers:

Now lets compare these offers with the offers launched by rival companies:
1.All local calls @ 1 paise/2 seconds:
Tata Docomo is the third company in Mumbai and second in Maharashtra to offer such scheme, other two companies being Aircel and MTS. Aircel is offering same scheme with a recharge of Rs 45 valid for a month. MTS is offering same scheme with a recharge of Rs 149 valid for 6 months with a talktime of 149 minutes but MTS is a CDMA operator so people will be lot more reluctant to switch. Tata Docomo is offering this scheme priced at Rs 49 valid for a month but the chances of people going for this scheme is more because of the network which is better than Aircel in both these circles.
2.On-net calls:
Recently Airtel started offering all local airtel calls between 11 pm to 6 am @ Rs 1/20 minutes with a recharge of Rs 23 valid for 30 days. Reliance started offering local and STD Reliance calls at 20 paise/min with RC 27 and RC 77 respectively valid for 30 days. Aircel started offering 5 lakh seconds free valid for a year. Tata Docomo is offering Docomo to Docomo 5 lakh local seconds valid for a year as well as Docomo to Tata network(Docomo,Tata Indicom and Virgin) at 1 paise/6 seconds between 11 pm to 7 am and also on Sundays with a recharge of Rs 29 valid for 30 days. All these schemes are good for people having maximum people on their network.Reliance somehow wins the race because they are already offering calls and sms’s at cheaper rate so the people going for Reliance are more and same might be the chances for this scheme plus they offer calls at same rate 24×7 unlike 11 pm to 6 am of Airtel and 11 pm to 7 am of Tata Docomo.
3.STD rates:
Reliance is providing all STD calls to any network @ 1 Rs/3 minutes with a recharge of Rs 41 so the tariff rate applicable is 33 paise/minute which is valid for Lifetime. Tata Docomo is offering 15,000 seconds which if calculated will become 250 minutes. This voucher is priced @ Rs 140 so the tariff rate applicable is 56 paise/minute which is valid for 60 days. Reliance clearly wins the race in this segment also.
Now if we sum up the things being offered by all operators in this lucrative market, Reliance and Tata Docomo are the only operators which show true promise to challenge the big operators like Airtel, Vodafone and !dea. Aircel has also shown some commitment by offering competitive tariff in both these circles. What do you think? Share your views.
