While modular smartphones were one of the hottest trend in 2016, luxury watch maker Tag Heuer has launched the Tag Heuer Connected Modular 45 smartwatch.
Tag Heuer has announced the launch of the Tag Heuer Connected Modular 45 smartwatch, which is the company’s latest watch which allows the central electronic module to be swapped with the mechanical one of Calibre 5 or premium Heuer 02T Tourbillon. As always, users can also change the watchband, lugs and buckle.
The Tag Heuer Connected Modular 45 smartwatch has a 1.39 inch AMOLED display with scratch-resistant 2.5 mm sapphire cover glass protection. The watch is powered by the Intel Atom Processor Z34XX and has 512 MB RAM and 4 GB of storage. The watch runs on Android Wear 2.0 and has a 410 mAh battery.

The Tag Heuer Connected Modular 45 smartwatch has a legitimate 3-hand mechanical tourbillon and has “Swiss Made” certification. The watch is available in 11 different designs, the watch module comes in silver or black colours, straps come in rubber, leather, titanium or ceramic, in a slew of different colours. The watch is priced starting at $1650 (approx. Rs. 108500).
