While most Indian handset makers are working on affordable smartphones, Swipe has launched its affordable Android tablet – the Swipe Slice.
Swipe has announced the launch of the Swipe Slice, which is the company’s latest entry-level Android tablet. The device has a large 7 inch display with resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. The tablet is powered by a 1.3 GHz dual core MediaTek processor with just 512 MB of RAM and 4 GB of internal storage. There is also the Mali 400 GPU.
The Swipe Slice has a small 2 MP rear facing camera. There is also a front facing VGA camera. The device runs on the Android Jelly Bean version with a 3000 mAh battery. The tablet has dual SIM support but with only 2G connectivity. The tablet is priced at Rs. 4990 and is available in Black, Red, Blue, Yellow and White colour options but would be sold exclusively through Amazon India.
