While Apple and Samsung are boasting about the fingerprint technology used on their flagship handset, Indian smartphone vendor Swipe has launched its own handset using the technology – the Swipe Sense.
Swipe Technologies has announced the launch of the Swipe Sense which comes with a fingerprint scanner for enhanced security. The device has a massive 5.5 inch IPS display with resolution of 960 x 540 pixels. The smartphone is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad core processor with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage.
The Swipe Sense has an 8 MP rear facing camera with LED flash. There is also a front facing 3.2 MP camera. The device runs on the latest Android KitKat version with a 2250 mAh battery. The handset is priced at Rs. 9999 and comes bundled with an additional 2250 mAh battery.
