An eco-friendly app has been launched today in India called the Suzlon Earth- an Environment Diary. The Minister for New and Renewable Energy, Dr. Farooq Abdullah, launched the app which is available for both Android and iOS platforms.
The app is a social news application for people who are concerned for the environment. It aggregates news, events, actions, governmental decisions, tools and blogs from top environmental sites from around the world.
Another feature also includes news about Suzlon, its products, stock price, videos, photo gallery, publications, Twitter feeds and Mr. Tulsi Tanti’s (Chairman of Suzlon Group) blog. This app is available for free download at the Apple and Android app stores or you can just directly go to the Suzlon web page.
Speaking on the development, Mr. Tulsi Tanti, Chairman – Suzlon Group, said: “We are delighted to launch this app. I believe it is a powerful way to empower people with knowledge and information about the environment and how we impact it. Through this app we are now able to reach out to the opinion and decision makers of the next generation.”
