While Zopo already took the lead in announcing the first smartphone powered by the new MediaTek processor, other companies seem to be getting ready for the upgrade. Alcatel is one such company that would soon have a new smartphone with the octa core processor.
According to leaked images, the alleged successor of the Alcatel One Touch Idol X, which is the company flagship smartphone, has leaked. What is more interesting is that the smartphone is powered by the recently released MediaTek MT6592 octa core processor, which has the capability to fire up all eight core simultaneously.
While the design of the successor of the Alcatel One Touch Idol X, with its thin bezels, looks appealing, we still have no details about the internal hardware. However given the previous smartphone, we can again expect a 5 inch 1080p display with 2 GB of RAM. The new standard 13 MP camera is also quite obvious.
