Steve Jobs, Apple Inc founder never loved Google’s Android OS, and was even ready to start a ‘thermonuclear war’ over the rival OS. But in an advertisement that has popped up from Taiwan, Jobs loves Android. Well we know that Jobs is no more amongst us, but yes his impersonators are still around.
And one such, Taiwanese comedian and impersonator Ah-Ken, has appeared in an ad of Taiwan’s Action Electronics Co.’s tablet ‘Action Pad’ running on Google Inc’s Android.
Ah-Ken, who is dressed in Jobs’ trademark black turtle neck sweater and blue jeans, has white angel’s wings and a halo overhead. He starts off same as Jobs used to present any new product to the audience saying, “Introducing the new generation of the pad,” and takes out the Action Pad out of his back pocket. Also, his wings flapper as ‘Jobs’ shows off the dictionary functions of the Action Pad to the audience via a giant screen behind him.
The whole ad has the support of subtitles and at the end of the 20 second commercial, the impersonator says, “Thank God I finally get to play other tablets.” Funny indeed! The Taiwanese company Action Electronics is a well known maker of electronic gadgets including portable DVD players and Internet devices in the country.
