Spice, the Indian manufacturer has launched a new entry level Android smartphone dubbed Spice Stellar 445. The device features some decent specs for its price, so let’s check them out.
Spice Stellar 445 features a 4-inch display of WVGA (800x480p) resolution. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor with 512 MB of RAM. There’s 4 GB of internal storage along with microSD expansion.
The affordable smartphone packs in a 3.2 MP rear camera and a 1.3 MP front facing camera. There’s Android 4.3 Jelly Bean on-board but we would have liked if the device had come with Android 4.4 KitKat, considering KitKat has been optimised for devices with 512 MB of RAM.
The device comes 1500 mAh battery and a Quick Charge feature, which as the name suggests makes you charge the device in quick time. There’s Dual SIM connectivity, with one of the SIM slots offering 3G connectivity. Other connectivity options include WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS along with the usual sensors. Spice has also used Snapdragon Audio+ technology to bring you better audio quality.
The Spice Stellar 445 will hit major retailers across India along with online retailer Saholic this week, that is the first week of July and it is priced at Rs. 5,299.
