S Mobility Limited, popularly known as Spice Mobiles has today announced the launch of two new devices – a 4.5-inch Android ICS smartphone called Spice Stellar Virtuoso Mi-495 and a 10.1 inch Android JB tablet called the Spice Stellar Pad Mi-1010 in the Indian market.
The Stellar Virtuoso arrives with a 4.5-inch capacitive display with a screen resolution of 960 x 540 pixels (qHD) and is powered by a 1 GHz dual-core processor.
The Stellar Virtuoso runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS and packs in an 8 MP camera on the rear with Flash with a front-facing 1.3 MP camera for video calls. The Virtuoso is pegged to be the thinnest smartphone from any Indian manufacturer and arrives with a 9.44mm profile.
There is no information on the internal memory of the smartphone but it can be expandable to 32 GB using a MicroSD card. The smartphone is powered by a 1700 mAh battery which is said to give users a talktime of 6 hours and standby time of 200 hours. Spice is giving away a leather cover and a screen guard free with the device.
Next is the 10.1-inch tablet from Spice called the Stellar Pad which is a full HD tablet with an IPS display and arrives with wide viewing angle. The Stellar Pad is powered by a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor coupled with a quad-core GPU for a great gaming experience.
The Stellar Pad arrives with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS out-of-the-box and is powered by a huge 7600 mAh battery which claims to offer 6 hours of video playing time a standby time of 15 days. The tablet comes with 16 GB of internal memory.
Spice has priced the Stellar Virtuoso at Rs.10,499 and the Stellar Tab at Rs.12,999 and are available with for buyers around the country.
