After a long wait, Spice has finally announced the launch of the first Firefox OS smartphone in India – the Spice Fire One Mi – FX 1.
Spice has announced the launch of the Spice Fire One Mi – FX 1, which is the first Firefox OS smartphone in India. The device has a very small display of 3.5 inches with resolution of 480 x 320 pixels. The smartphone is powered by a low-end 1 GHz processor. The handset has dual SIM support but with only 2G connectivity.
The Spice Fire One Mi – FX 1 has a small 2 MP rear facing camera. There is also a front facing 1.3 MP camera. The device runs on the Firefox OS developed by Mozilla and based on HTML 5. The handset is priced at just Rs. 2299 and is targeted towards people who are looking for a smartphone experience at an ultra-affordable pricing.
