After the launch of its flagship smartphone G2, LG now seems to be working on the third iteration of the Vu series. The upcoming device will succeed the LG Vu II.
According to sources, LG has started working on the new Vu handset, which would be the third in the series. While the new device would be getting a bigger 5.2 inch display, it will retain the peculiar 4:3 aspect ratio with a resolution of 1280 x 960 pixels. Interestingly, the smartphone is said to feature a Snapdragon 800 processor.
The LG Vu III is said to run on the recently released Android v4.3 and have a 13 MP primary camera. While the earlier editions of the LG Vu series never crossed the Korean borders, the company seems to have different plans this time. The device is expected to be announced at the IFA expo in Berlin in September.
Expected specs of the LG Vu III:
- 5.2 inch display
- 1280 x 960 pixels resolution
- Snapdragon 800 processor
- 2 GB RAM
- 16 GB internal memory
- 13 MP primary camera
- Google Android v4.3 Jelly Bean
