While Sony just launched its flagship Sony Xperia Z5, the company has also launched the premium version of the flagship – the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium.
Sony has announced the launch of the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, which is the company’s touts to be a super-flagship. The device has a 5.5 inch Triluminious display with super-high 4K resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels, which implies an 806 ppi pixel density, thus making it the sharpest display ever. The smartphone also comes with the upscale to 4K feature which can be used to enhance any native or third party videos or photos to 4K resolution.
The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium is powered by a 2.5 GHz octa core Snapdragon 810 processor with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. The handset comes finger print scanner integrated in the power button. The device also has IPX5/IPX8 rating, which means that the device is waterproof and dustproof.
The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has a massive 23 MP rear facing auto focus camera with 1/2.3″ Sony Exmor RS sensor, f/2.0 aperture, Sony G lens and LED flash. There is also a front facing 5 MP camera. The device runs on the latest Android Lollipop version with a massive 3430 mAh battery. The handset is available in chrome, black and gold colour options and is expected to roll out in November.
