Sony did not reveal its flagship at MWC, so as to not share the limelight with the other bigwigs such as Samsung and HTC. Apparently, the company has been hard at work, prepping up to launch its Xperia Z4 flagship. Today, we get to know more, as press renders of the Sony flagship has just leaked.
The leak comes from @OnLeaks and it shows us the Sony Xperia Z4 in all its glory. As you would’ve noticed, the Xperia Z4 looks a lot like its predecessor, the Z3 and features the same OmniBalance design language. The dimensions of the Z4 are said to be 146.3×71.9×7.2mm, which is very similar to what we have on the Z3.
There are a few changes in the design though, there’s a new port alongside the microUSB port on the bottom and we have no idea what that is for. The device lacks the Sony branding on the rear, which as per the leakster is because it’s an early version of the device. While some things might change in the final version, expect Sony Xperia Z4 to be more or less the same.
It’s not clear yet when Sony plans on releasing the device but it’s rumored to be coming with a 5.2-inch QHD (2560x1440p) display, a 20.7 MP camera and Android 5.0 Lollipop.
