The specs of the Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet leaked recently and then, we also came across the leaked press image of the Xperia Z2 Tablet. Now, Sony has made their flagship tablet official here at MWC 2014 along with the Sony Xperia Z2 smartphone.
The Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet features a similar design to its predecessor and it is ultra thin measuring 6.4 mm. The tablet comes in WiFi and LTE variants and it weighs 426g and 439g respectively. The tablet comes with IP certifications meaning the tablet is water and dust proof.
The tablet comes with a 10.1-inch WUXGA (1920×1200) display with Bravia Engine 2. It is powered by the latest 2.3 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor with Adreno 330 GPU and there’s 3 GB RAM. Internal storage is 16GB and there’s a microSD slot for expansion upto 64GB.
Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet comes with an 8MP rear camera and a 2.2MP front facing camera capable of recording 1080p videos. Android 4.4 KitKat runs the show along with Sony’s latest interface. The tablet is equipped with a 6000 mAh battery.
The Xperia Z2 Tablet will hit the stores globally starting March and will be available in Black and White. They haven’t detailed the price yet but we’ll let you know as soon as we know it.
