Just yesterday, we came across leaked specs of the upcoming Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet and now, we have the first Xperia Z2 Tablet press image, thanks yet again to @evleaks.
The leaked press image suggests that the Xperia Z2 Tablet should most probably be identical to its predecessor, with an ultra thin glass and metal body measuring an impressive 6.4 mm. We can also see the bezels on the device which are huge by today’s standards. The device will come with IP certifications making it water and dust resistant like Sony’s other flagship offerings.
Reiterating the specs, the Xperia Z2 Tablet will come in a 10.1-inch 1920×1200 resolution Triluminos display, a 2.3 GHz Snapdragon 800 chipset coupled with 3 gigs of RAM, 16GB internal storage with microSD expansion. An 8MP camera will grace its rear and a 2MP front facing camera is present for your video chat and selfie needs.
Android 4.4 KitKat will be on offer along with Sony’s latest interface customizations. A 6000 mAh battery will power the tablet.
The Xperia Z2 Tablet should be unveiled at MWC which is less than a week away. Sony is going to have some major announcements at the event with its rumored smartphone flagship, Xperia Z2 and the recently leaked mid-ranger Xperia G. Come MWC, we’ll be bringing you all the news from there so stay tuned.
