Sony’s upcoming smartphone flagship, the Xperia Z2 has leaked like crazy but we did not know that it’s tablet counterpart is also on the way. Thanks to the ever reliable @evleaks, we now know the specs of the Xperia Z2 Tablet.
The Xperia Z2 Tablet leak suggests that the device will come in an ultra slim body measuring at 6.4 mm and it will also come with the IP certifications which means the device will be waterproof(and dustproof).
The Xperia Z2 Tablet will come with the same 10.1-inch Triluminos display and the same 1900×1200 resolution as its predecessor. The internals have been improved, it will come with the Snapdragon 800 processor clocked at 2.3 GHz along with 3 gigs of RAM. There’ll be 16 GB memory onboard along with support for microSD expansion.
On the camera front, there will be an 8MP rear camera and a 2MP front facing camera. Android 4.4 KitKat will be running the show. A 6000 mAh battery will be powering the tablet.
We should see the device get official at MWC along with other devices like the flagship Xperia Z2, the recently leaked mid-ranger Xperia G.
