A month after the big smartphone from Sony with a massive display was unveiled, the company has launched the device in India today.
The Sony Xperia Z Ultra has a 6.44 inch OLED display making the phablet the largest device from the company. The 1080p display uses Sony’s OptiContrast and X-Reality technology. The device is the first to be powered with the fastest processor, a 2.2 GHz quad core Snapdragon 800 processor along with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage. The processor also has support for 4G LTE communications.
The Sony Xperia Z Ultra has an 8 MP rear camera with Exmor RS sensor besides a 2 MP front facing camera with 1080p video recording. The device is dust and water proof. The phone has an enormous 3000 mAh battery which can survive 120 hours of audio playback. The device is priced at Rs. 46990 in India and would be available in in black, white and purple colours from August 2.
