Android KitKat OS is slowly catching on. Even though it currently has only around 2.5 percent market, it is bound to change as more and more handsets are receiving the update. The Sony Xperia Z Ultra and the HTC Butterfly are the recent devices adding to the list of these devices.
The Sony Xperia Z Ultra C6833 LTE model from Hong Kong was the first to receive the update, which is currently available over the air and might soon come via the Sony PC companion software. The HTC Butterfly S, on the other hand, has begun receiving the update. The handset has already received an Android 4.3 update along with Sense 5.5 UI.
The KitKat OS update brings allowing with it many improvements including security enhancements, Bluetooth LE and Google Cloud Print service.
