Keeping up with the growing high-end smartphone portfolio, Sony has now launched the Sony Xperia XZ alongside the Xperia X Compact at the IFA 2016.
Sony has announced the launch of the Sony Xperia XZ, which is the company’s latest flagship smartphone with a fingerprint scanner. The device has a 5.2 inch Triluminos display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection and resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The smartphone is powered by the 2.3 GHz quad core Snapdragon 820 processor with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage.
The Sony Xperia XZ has a 23 MP rear facing auto focus camera with Exmos RS sensor, 1/2.3″ sensor, f/2.0 lens, Predictive Hybrid AF, 5-axis stabilization and LED flash. There is also a front facing 13 MP camera 1/3” Exmor RS sensor and 22 mm wide-angle f/2.0 lens. The device runs on the Android Marshmallow version with a 2900 mAh battery. The phone has dual SIM support with 4G LTE connectivity. The handset is available in Forest Blue, Mineral Black and Platinum colour options.
