We have seen loads of leaks about it and Sony’s Xperia SL has finally landed up on Sony’s official website a little earlier than we had expected.
The Sony Xperia SL is nothing but an upgraded version of Sony’s flagship Xperia S smartphone which was launched earlier this year but failed to make a great impact which the Japanese giant expected with it.
The Sony Xperia SL goes on to pack in the same 4.3 inch HD display and a 12.1 MP camera at the rear which has been taken from the Xperia S. But Sony has included a flash to support the camera this time around.
Also the SL is arriving with an upgraded Snapdragon S3 processor clocking at 1.7 GHz which will surely improve the performance of the smartphone. Along with all of this, the smartphone is arriving with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich out-of-the-box. Also the Xperia SL will arrive in two additional colour options other than the traditional Black and White.
The smartphone has not yet been officially announced but we are hoping Sony to unveil the device officially along with a couple of other smartphones and also the much leaked Sony Xperia Tablet at the upcoming IFA back in Berlin from August 29.
