While the Sony Xperia Z4 flagship has failed to garner much attention, the Xperia P2 might bring the limelight back to Sony, if the latest leak is legit. The new leak shows us the Sony Xperia P2 along with full specs.
The leaked image shows us the alleged Xperia P2 alongside the Z4 and you can see the effect narrower bezels has on a device. The Xperia P2 is definitely more compact than the Xperia Z4, even though they both pack the same screen size. The device is said to be measuring 137.3 x 67.2 x 10.9mm, which is pretty thick but we will forgive that bulk if the rumor of a 4240 mAh battery is indeed true.
The device will feature a transparent strip below the display, which should illuminate when a notification arrives. The predecessor, Xperia P had a metal back but we don’t know if the P2 will feature a metal body.
The leaked specs of the Xperia P2 include a 5.2-inch Triluminos IPS display of 1080p display, Snapdragon 810 chipset, 3 GB RAM, 32 GB of internal storage, 12 MP rear and a 5 MP front-facing camera.
While the device might be indeed real, the image does look like a fan made concept. We would surely be happy if it’s legit, considering we have been wanting a fresh Sony smartphones over the last few years.
