With all the major smartphone brands unveiling their flagship handsets, Sony has announced a mid-range device which it claims is as good as any high-end smartphone – the Sony Xperia M4 Aqua.
Sony has announced the launch of the Sony Xperia M4 Aqua, which is touted to be the company’s high-end mid-range handset without any compromises. The handset boasts of waterproof resistance which can last for up to 30 minutes in 1.5m deep fresh water. The device has tempered glass to protect the front and a beautiful frame with strengthened corners.
The Sony Xperia M4 Aqua has a 5.2 inch IPS display with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The smartphone is powered by the octa core Snapdragon 615 processor with 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage.
The Sony Xperia M4 Aqua has a 13 MP rear facing auto focus camera with Exmor RS mobile sensor, F2.0 aperture and LED flash. There is also a front facing 5 MP selfie camera. The device runs on the latest Android Lollipop version. The phone packs in a 2400 mAh battery, which according to Sony would last for 2 days.
