While Sony just started rolling out the KitKat updates for the Xperia M2, the company has announced an advanced version of the handset – the Sony Xperia M2 Aqua.
Sony has announced the launch of the Sony Xperia M2 Aqua, which is the waterproof version of the Xperia M2. The device has a 4.8 inch IPS display with resolution of 960 x 540 pixels. The smartphone is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad core Snapdragon 400 processor with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage. The handset has waterproof and dustproof coating.
The Sony Xperia M2 Aqua has an 8 MP rear facing auto focus camera with Exmor RS sensor and LED flash. There is also a front facing VGA camera. The device runs on the latest Android KitKat version with a 2330 mAh battery. The handset is available in Black and White and Purple colour options.
