A fortnight after the Sony Xperia E1 was launched in the country, the single SIM version of the device has now gone on sale.
The Sony Xperia E1 was launched with a single SIM and dual SIM variant. While the dual SIM variants went on sale immediately for Rs. 10490, the single SIM variant is now available for Rs. 8980, which is lesser than the launch price of Rs. 9490. The phone comes with a dedicated Walkman key helps directly launch the Sony Walkman app to play music on the 100 dB built-in speaker, which the company claims cannot be interrupted by a motorcycle.
The Sony Xperia E1 is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual core Snapdragon 200 processor along with just 512 MB of RAM and 4 GB of internal storage. There is small rear facing 3 MP camera. The phone runs on the Android v4.3 with a 1700 mAh battery.
