Sony Mobiles has today announced the launch of a couple of Android smartphones – the Sony Xperia E and the Sony Xperia E Dual.
The Sony Xperia E and Xperia E dual both arrive with a 3.5-inch TFT display and will be available for prospective buyers in the Q1 2013.
The Sony Xperia E arrives with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box whereas the Xperia E Dual which is a dual-SIM smartphones will be available with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS at the time of launch but will be updated to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS later on.
The Sony Xperia E and Xperia Dual pack in the following specifications:

- Display resolution of 480 x 320 pixels
- 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM7227A processor
- 512 MB RAM
- 4 GB internal memory
- Expandable to 32 GB
- 3.2 MP rear facing camera
- Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 3G
- 1500 mAh battery
Both the smartphones come equipped with superior sound quality with the in-built WALKMAN application that includes xLOUD audio technology, 3D surround sound and a manual equalizer.
Sony has announced that the Xperia E will be available in three colour options: Black, White and Pink while the dual-SIM Xperia E Dual will be up for grabs in Black and Gold colours. Sony is yet to announce the pricing of both the smartphones and they are expected to be available in Q1 2013.
