Recently we have been hearing quite a few rumours about the Xperia Sirius. However, sources believe that Sony is supposed to launch two new Android handsets and the Sony Xperia Canopus could be the other one.
According to sources, a Sony smartphone bearing model number PM-0750-BV was recently certified in Japan. The handset is apparently said to be the Sony Xperia Canopus. While the details are bleak, the device is said to feature a 5 inch display and powered by the quad core Snapdragon 800 processor.
The Sony Xperia Canopus is said to feature LTE, WiMAX, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac. While it isn’t confirmed, the device is said to run on the Android v4.3. Interestingly, the handset is expected to be called as the Xperia SOL25, which by the way, is said to be the Xperia Z2. While it is highly unlikely that this is the Xperia Z2, there is a concept design.
