While Sony hasn’t shown any new smartphones at the ongoing CES 2014, the company seems to be ready with the next flagship – the Sony Sirius, for launch at the upcoming Mobile World Congress 2014.
According to sources, Sony is working on a new smartphone which is codenamed as the Sony Sirius. Compared to The previous Xperia Z, this smartphone is supposed to feature a slightly larger display measuring 5.2 inches with an even more powerful Qualcomm MSM8974AB processor. The processor is supposedly supported by 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage.
Like every other smartphone in the Xperia series, the new flagship Sony Sirius would have remarkable dust and waterproof capabilities. Similarly, the device is expected to flaunt a huge 20.7 MP camera module with the Sony G Lens. With the launch event said to be held at the MWC 2014, it’s just a few more weeks before we get to see it.
Expected specs of the Sony Sirius:
- 5.2 inch display
- 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution
- Qualcomm MSM8974AB processor
- 2 GB RAM
- 16 GB internal memory
- 20.7 MP primary camera
