As we are getting ready for the launch of the promising camera phone from Sony, the device seems well endowed not only in the camera department but also under the hood.
The Sony i1 Honami, which is the upcoming camera phone of Sony, was recently seen at the AnTuTu benchmarks. The device under testing was powered by the 2.2 GHz quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor and had the Android v4.2.2 installed. The device scored a whopping 30625, putting it ahead of the LG G2 which had scored 29909.
The Sony Honami i1 is expected to be launched in Berlin on September 4, just ahead of the IFA 2013. Excitingly, the launch coincides with the launch of Samsung’s Galaxy Note 3, which is one of the most awaited devices of the year. Being a camera phone, the Sony Honami i1 is set to compete with the likes of the 41 MP Nokia Lumia 1020 and Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom.
