While we had suspicion that Sony would launch its next Xperia handset in September, the news has been confirmed and we now have a date for the launch of the much awaited camera phone from Sony.
According to reports, the Sony Honami i1, which is the next Android flagship from Sony, would be unveiled on September 4 in Berlin just ahead of the IFA 2013. The Sony Honami i1 is said to sport a 20.7 MP camera sensor with the Sony G lens and an aperture of f/2.0. The 5 inch device also boasts of a full HD display with the Triluminos technology.
For those of you who have forgotten, September 4 is also the day that Samsung would launch its Galaxy Note 3 in Berlin. So we might see the device launching within a gap of a few hours. We may also see the recently rumoured interchangeable camera lenses at the event. Seems like the companies are planning on finishing their fireworks even before the IFA 2013 begins.
