Just a couple of days back we saw the image of Sony Ericsson ‘Kumquat’ ST25i get leaked which looked like a mini version of the Sony Ericsson Xperia S and today we get to know that the device will be officially be called the Sony (Ericsson) Xperia U.
This information has leaked directly from the Indonesian authority which is responsible for approving devices in the country like what FCC does in the US. With so many information of the Xperia U coming in daily, we are very much sure to see the device get previewed by the company at the upcoming Mobile World Congress to be held in Barcelona next month.
Going by the rumours regarding the specs of the Xperia ‘Kumquat’ U, the device is expected
- To be powered by a 1GHz processor
- 3.5 inch FWVGA display
- 5MP at the rear
- Android Ice Cream Sandwich out of the box
- Cost around 260 Euros and to arrive in market by April 2012
