Sony had recently banned benchmarking apps on its prototype devices to prevent its devices from leaking but that does not seem to be really working as a new Sony Xperia smartphone with the codename, Sony D5103 has leaked, thanks to the GFX Benchmark database.
The leak shows us a few specs of the Sony D5103 midrange smartphone leaks through benchmarks and they sound very similar to what Moto G offers. There’s a 720p display along with a 1.4 GHz Snapdragon 400 processor. In comparison, Moto G also offers the same resolution display but a lower clocked 1.2 Snapdragon 400. The device is also running the Android 4.4 KitKat. The screen size and other specs are still a mystery as of now.
We should see a lot more of these mid-range Sony devices, considering Sony recently sold it’s VAIO line of PCs. We can see the device get an announcement at the MWC alongside the Sony D6503 aka the Xperia Z2 which earlier today leaked in a video.
