We already knew about Sony’s plans to enter the budget range of the smartphone market, but it seems that the company is going to do it sooner than expected.
As per new images leaked online, Sony is working on the C3 handset which is expected to be powered by a MediaTek chip, which is a cost-efficient solution for processors, thus reducing the overall price of the handset.
The Sony C3 is said to feature either a quad-core MT6589 processor or the updated 1.5 GHz MT6589T chip, which would provide good processing power without raising the price of the device. This device is said to have a 5 inch display with probably a 720p resolution. Other than that we also have 1 GB of RAM and Android v4.2.
