Japanese manufacturer Sharp seems to be working on a new smartphone as one of its smartphone has appeared on a benchmarking website. There have been rumors of Sharp planning to launch a smartphone with bezel-less display in China, and, this one which has appeared on a benchmarking website might just be the one which we would see launching soon.
This Sharp smartphone, which is carrying model number Sharp FS8010, has been spotted on Geekbench. According to the Geekbench listing, the Sharp FS8010 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 630 SoC which is coupled with 4 GB RAM and backed by Adreno 508 GPU.
The device that was put through Geekbench is running Android 7.1.1 Nougat and made a score of 855 and 4139 points in Geekbench’s single-core and multi-core tests respectively. Apart from this, there isn’t much information revealed by the Geekbench listing like the screen size, screen resolution, cameras or internal storage.
If Sharp is really going to launch this smartphone in the coming weeks, or even months, we expect it to pop up on other benchmarking websites as well like AnTuTu or GFXBench.
