While the display sizes of smartphones are steadily increasing, manufacturers are working hard to reduce the thickness and the bezels to make it very comfortable to use even with one hand. With that in mind, Sharp has announced the Aquos Crystal with almost no bezels at all.
Sharp has announced the launch of the Aquos Crystal, which is the company’s midrange Android smartphone but with very minimal bezels. The device has a 5 inch IPS display with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. However, like the tagline “Take the edge off” suggests, the device has razor thin bezels which are almost not seen.
The Aquos Crystal is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad core Snapdragon 400 processor with 1.5 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage. The device has an 8 MP rear facing auto focus camera with LED flash. There is also a front facing 1.2 MP camera. The device runs on the latest Android KitKat version with a 4030 mAh battery.
